Fork Mounted
Our fork mounted spreader beams are designed for quick attachment and detachment. They consist of fork pockets which can be specified to extend the fork as with fork extensions. A braced box section beam extends across the forks out to a pair of fork blades top set level.
Carriage Mounted Fixed Spreader Beam
Our carriage mounted spreader beams are designed to be used with existin truck forks.
The mounting sits between the truck forks and raises the main beam to clear them. The beam extends out and drops back down to accept uoter forks.
By far the most common use for this type of spreader beam is with side loader lift trucks as the beam can extend over the truck bed. However it is still practicle to use these beams on conventional counterbalance trucks and reach trucks.
