Drum Handling
Drum Tines
Our non hydraulic drum lifting tine attachments are simple frames with fixed centre poles. They can be supplied as standard for lifting one two or three drums side by side all in the horizontal position
Drum Tippler
Our drum tippling attachments are designed for lifting drums from the horizontal to the vertical or vica versa.
They can be supplied as standard for handling one two or three drums side by side.
Birds Beak Drum Handler
SMC through its ATIB range can offer a 'Birds Beak' style drum handling clamps for lifting of single drums without the need for hydraulics.
Overhead Drum Handler
Our overhead device is designed for positive lifting of drums positioned axis vertical using hydraulic clamp operation. The unit also consists of a slewing action such that the four lifting prongs can be rotated to enable close stacking of the drums.
Overpack System
This example shows a drum handling application for overpacking old drums of nuclear waste.
