Sideshifters

Used to decrease handling time by removing the need for accurate positioning or the need for re-alignment of the truck when entering tight load apertures, SMC have a wide range on offer.

  Our range of sideshifts include the standard steel as well as aluminium construction hook-on sideshifts.

• Semi Integral

  

  Our semi-integral sideshift can be supplied on the back of many of our attachments. They are literally bolted to the back of the attachment in plate of the top and bottom hooks.

• Integral

  

  Our integral sideshifts are designed for the full intergration into the truck mast. By eliminating the existing carriage bars minimal lost load is achieved with the smallest of increases in lost load and mass, which in many cases has no effect on the trucks residual capacity.

  Require the optimum truck capacity with a sideshift attachment fitted.

• Valving

  

  Sideshift valving is used on fork positioners and clamp units i.e. units with two equal length cylinders horizontally apposed. The valve simultaneously opens and closes the hydraulic cylinders to produce a sideshifting action.
