Fork Positioner

If you handle a wide variety of products and have the requirement to change the positioning of the fork centres regularly, a fork positioner becomes a essential addition to you fork lift. As well as the inconvenience and time involved in jumping on an off a fork truck to reposition the forks, it can also be a health & safety issue. Particularly in a busy work are the driver is exposed to many otherwise unnecessary hazards when he steps outside the trucks protected zone. Forks particularly on big trucks can be difficult to move and potential injuries are possible. In many applications the requirement for a seat belt has further hindered this action. Often can be the temptation to leave forks in less than ideal positions to save having to reposition forks.   Our within frame fork positioners include units supplied with forks intergrated into the design for minimum weight and optimum residual capacity. Bolted Fork designs are offered for simple fork replacement. 'Own fork' designs utilise the existing truck forks. We also include extra wide fork positioners and integrally mounted versions which include all of the above choices with the benefits of being fully intergrated into the fork lift truck.

• Wide Opening

  

  Wide opening fork positioners extend the forks outside their own chassis width enabling wide loads to be supported safely. When restrictions apply the forks can be reduced within the trucks overall width.

• Tippling Fork Positioner

  

  Tippling fork positioners incorparate a pivoting back frame where the hole chassis articulates about a pivot point on the underside of the chassis. Two large tippling cylinders are used to lift and lower. The forward tippling action rotates a full 90 for depositing from the forks.
