Carriage Mounted Fixed Spreader Beam
Overview
Our carriage mounted spreader beams are designed to be used with existin truck forks.
The mounting sits between the truck forks and raises the main beam to clear them. The beam extends out and drops back down to accept uoter forks.
By far the most common use for this type of spreader beam is with side loader lift trucks as the beam can extend over the truck bed. However it is still practicle to use these beams on conventional counterbalance trucks and reach trucks.
We can also offer these beams with adiitional forks such as our four fork version that results in a total of six forks being used when the truck forks are included.
These beams can also be provided with a manual extending arrangement to make the beam more manegable when not in use.
Manually folding forks can also be specified with our beams.
