Attachment Mountings
Overview
Our range of attachments are mostly supplied for use on an industrial fork lift trucks. Below 10 Tonne capacity almost all counterbalance and reach trucks as well as side loaders utilise the FEM standard carriage. The Class 2,3 and 4 being the most common, less common are Class 1 and 5. (see features for dimensions). Knowing the Carriage class and its underclearance we can supply to fit with no further information
Dual mountings are usually supplied as a series of hole drillings in the attachments backplate of which bolted hooks to suit the different classes are supplied. Most commonly we would supply Class 2A&3A or Class 3A&4A.
Units can be supplied for fork mounting onto the lift truck , however some attachments are better suited to this than others. Usually the ones that are suited will be given as an example in the product guide.
Larger trucks can be fitted with pin type or square hook type, carriages, all of which we can provide for.
For the optimum achievable capacity we can also offer integral mountings (into mast) which improves the residual capacity of truck as well as visibility.
In some cases none fork lift truck applications dictate alternative mounting arrangements, these may include crane mounting or static line mounting for example
