Hydraulic Connections
Overview
SMC attachments utilise the B.S.P.P thread form (British Standard Pipe,Parallel Thread Form).
Most SMC attachments terminate in either 1/4"BSPP,3/8"BSPP or 1/2"BSPP. This female termination can be then altered with adaptor unions , should a different thread form be required.
SMC can supply the attachment with suitable termination adaptors on request.
occasionally on small circuits, greasing systems 1/8" 3/16"BSPP may be used. At the opposite end of the scale 3/4"BSPP is used.
