Hydraulically our attachments are fitted with pressure relief valves on each circuit (with a small number of exceptions). These valves are used to prevent excessive pressure from damaging the attachment or the load it is lifting.
By adjustment of the relief valve on a clamping circuit the correct level of grip can be obtained which enables delicate loads to be handled.
The lockvalve is also a commonly employed cartridge valve, this is used when load holding is required.
This type of valve is used to maintain the pressure after the operator has clamped the product. The pressure is maintained inbetween the clamping cylinder and the cartridge until the operator reverses the control lever to let go of the load.
Because the cartridges we use are all screw in it makes for easy maintainence of the hydraulic circuit.
