Description Of The Repair Service.

SMC charge an estimate fee of £130 + transportation, For this we will thouroughly inspect the attachment and produce a quotation for the full repair of your attachment.

SMC's repair service at minimum will make the attachment servicable and fit for purpose , this will include the following ;

Waiver of the estimate cost,
Power Wash & Clean,
Magnaflux test of critical load bearing welds,
Thorough Inspection of all the components for wear / damage,
Full Itemised Quotation of components and work required,
Replacement of items identified on cost breakdown,
Hydraulic Pressure Test,
Load Test,
Re-spray unless declined from quote (blow-over only, small amount of preparation work),
6 Months warranty on the repair work only. (SMC manufacture attachments only, consult SMC).

Note, In the case our quotation is not of interest, we will endeavour to return the equipment in the condition it was supplied, however it may well be returned in a dismantled state if it is impractical to reassemble it without carrying out the repair. SMC do not take any responsibility for the units fitness for purpose on its return. If it is possible to put it into service, the unit should be re-tested by a suitable person.
