The Service
As well as supply of spares for our current range of products, SMC have 60 years of attachment manufacture for which we hold manufacturing details for. This means we can and will still manufacture parts for any age of attachment. Our off the shelf stock consists of the majority of wear items, (Bearings,Hydraulic Seals,Contact Pads), a large number of the hydraulic valves and cylinders, and some major fabrications. Our non stock spares are expressed through our production facitiliy. We also have the availability of ATIB's large stock holding in Italy. SMC can also supply original and in certain cases remanufacture parts for other manufacturers attachments.
The Process
All our attachments are stamped with a unique serial number. It is vital that we have this information to identify the equipments specific build. This unique number will be on the rating plate and stamped into the parent metal of the attachment. All our attachments are supplied with parts manuals when new, which can be re-issued electronically at no cost. Where serial numbers can not be identified email of a digital photo can often be sufficient for us to identify parts.
